Student Welfare

Student welfare is responsible in handling various aspects of student welfare that aim to successful completion of the study experience. It comprises the following services:

To give help and support to all students
Looking after the welfare of international students
Looking after the needs of in-service students
Student allowances
Student discipline
Hostel accommodation
Conducting counseling session either individually or in a group on academic, social, psychological, personal conflicts, relationship difficulties, etc
Providing information and assistance to students regarding employment opportunities in the public and private sectors
Obtaining and arranging Student Work Experience places in the public and private sectors
Arranging career dialogues with public and private organizations in order to obtain information regarding the type of work and opportunities for employment.
Liaising with student's parents or guardians and ITB officials regarding student development
Adviser to the Student Welfare Body

Students are encouraged to see the Student Welfare Officer if they have related problems at sariani@itb.edu.bn or see personally at Room 1F.13, Administration Block, Institut Teknologi Brunei.
