JUDGING CRITERIA

Suitable judges for the assessment and evaluation of the projects will be selected and appointed by the organising committee.

The criteria for judging the projects may include the following:

• Novelty, Originality or Creativity of work
• Adaptability to commercial product/process development
• Contribution to meeting the human needs and the impact on society
• Marketability
• Presentation

The assessment of the projects will be conducted in two stages:

Stage 1: Preliminary Assessment
All entries undergo a pre-qualification assessment. Only pre-qualified entries are allowed to proceed into the next stage of the competition.

Stage 2: Final Assessment
For the final assessment, a comprehensive report is required that is in line to the stipulated instructions of the competition. Participants will be required to bring their projects to ITB or arrange a suitable venue for examination by the judges. Oral Presentation and demonstration of each project to the judges are also required.
